Thanksgiving is a time for community and gratitude, and we believe every family deserves to celebrate with a full and festive meal. Our annual Thanksgiving Distribution is here to help make that a reality. This is more than just a meal; it's an opportunity for you to create cherished memories with your loved ones this holiday season.
If your family needs a little extra support this Thanksgiving, we invite you to join us. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and volunteers, we're providing a complete Thanksgiving meal kit.
How and When to Receive Support
Our Thanksgiving Distribution is a drive-thru event and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. We are open to all families who need a little help this Thanksgiving.

Distribution Day: Saturday, November 22, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM (or until supplies run out)

● Word Encounter Church 4900 Hurlbut Street Detroit, MI 48214
Important Notes:
No Registration Required: This is a first-come, first-served event. No pre-registration is necessary.
One Meal Kit Per Vehicle: To ensure we can help as many families as possible, please note that we are providing one meal kit per vehicle.
While Supplies Last: The distribution will run until 1:00 PM or until all meal kits have been given out, whichever comes first. Unfortunately, this means some people who come will not receive any assistance. We recommend arriving early.
